Mabuhey!We took a 45 minute ferry ride to the island. In fairness, nice ila ferry pero mas paspas pa gyud ang Supercat, Ocean Jet and Weesam. And the floating wharf in the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal was so balud. Nalipong nako, wala pa gani ko katuntong sa barko.
In the boat, we whiled away our time by trying to catch this baby buddha's attention. The plan was to make him look at us and then magsimangot mi para muhilak sya. Hahahaha. Bunch of meanies gyud. :D La lang, ang cute kasi ng baby and he looked so placidly fat with his highly pinchable cheeks. Gusto lang namin makita kung kaya namin syang paiyakin. :D
We were welcomed by a drink and toasted to the good life while checking into our room. In fairness, mura ug plantation bay quality ang room and the resort surroundings. I found the infinity pool really nice and totally inviting.
The others were booked in the kapitbahay resort in villa-like accomodations. Since it was peak season, we couldn't be accomodated there anymore. But both resorts had the same management so we could over-da-bakod anytime we wanted to.

swimming, swimmingThere was a party and videoke session scheduled for the evening activities so we decided to make full use of the infinity pool first. Hay, the first dip was really relaxing. This is the da layp!Walang kwenta ang mga beaches and pools sa Singapore so we had to go all the way to Indonesia just to chill. At least nadagdagan tatak ng passport ko. :D
We dressed up to go to the villa after swimming till we turned all pruney. Turned out, maaga pa pala kami. The food wasn't prepared yet and all the other people were either taking baths pa or sleeping. What's a bunch of girls of to do when the Magic Sing is in full view and no audience in sight to mock our below 50 score? :D
Performance level mi tanan ato. With matching emote and choreography ang mga numbers. :D Nihunong na lang mi pag abot na sa ubang mga tao. Kabalo man sad mi mauwaw gamay. :D The boys made special water for all of us. Special water nga vodka and sprite and vodka ug iced tea. Mahal man gud kaayo ang alcohol in both Singapore and Indonesia so we had to make do with what we had. Na-igo gyud ko since I drank quite a bit. Buti na lang, tipsy ra and not out and out drunk or I would have upchucked my guts out again. Careful lang ko when taking the stairs after the party since the world was constantly spinning. :D
When the special water ran out, we made our way to the deserted beach and shared stories under the moonlight. And tried to fit 3 people into a hammock that only seats one. May na lang, wala mi natuwad tanan. :D
It was a really fun, relaxing and memorable weekend. Bintan, I'll be back.
