Taking Care of Our Future

For the month of love, we decided to love and take care of our future selves by taking one very big step towards a very big dream. It's now time to tighten our belts and brace ourselves for some major scrimping and saving ahead. That's what happens when you both decide to live on one income and save the other income entirely for future dreams. 

It's a big sacrifice yes. But nothing worth having ever came easy. We hope that in a year or two, we will see the fruits of our labor. I'm so excited already. And now I have to prepare to live the frugal life. Which is quite a departure for me. Maybe if I treat it as an adventure, it will be more bearable for me. Good luck to us. 

But sigh, it's times when I know I can't afford it that thoughts of major expenses occupy my mind. Like right now, instead of trying to find ways to stretch my dollar, I am thinking of getting a perm or traveling to Australia. 

Isang malaking good luck nga. But we can do this and when we see our dream become reality, our future selves will thank us then.
