Dispirited

I'm feeling low these days. I guess that's but natural when you want something and realize that you might never get it. You can actually see it slipping way beyond your grasp. Although it is nothing life-altering, still you wish for a miracle to grant your admittedly self-serving wish.

Of course, I could always blame my hormones. <heaves a big sigh>

My life is about to change in a big way. I'm just not sure if I'm ready for it. Or if I even want it to. <heaves an even bigger sigh>
